FIGURE is a surreal tale about creating myths, about religious kitsch, and about the desire for greatness. Who is our protagonist? The world's largest sacral miniature park resident. 　　Katarzyna Gondek 　　Biography 　　A graduate of film studies and documentary course in Wajda School. Author of films and literary forms. She wrote and published two novels (HORROR VACUI and OTOLITH), a poetry book (PLEXUS) and a couple of short stories. 　　A hunter for the surreal. 　　Her latest film works are THE FIGURE, a poetic comedy about a gigantic plastic pope and HOSANNA, a short narrative that also lightly deconstructs a few religious myths. Right now she is working on a short fiction, a Polish/Belgium coproduction called "DEER BOY” and a documentary about disappearing memories ("THE BLACK CURTAIN").
